This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every Intek Invoice account, storefront, public link, communication feature, API-connected feature, and item of content submitted through the Platform.
1. Use the Platform for legitimate business activity
You may use Intek Invoice to manage lawful business records, issue genuine invoices and receipts, maintain customer records, present legitimate products or services, receive order requests, and communicate with customers in a lawful manner.
2. Prohibited activity
You must not use Intek Invoice to:
- Create false, deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading invoices, receipts, storefronts, businesses, orders, payment instructions, or customer records.
- Impersonate another person, company, institution, or brand without authority.
- Sell, promote, facilitate, or request payment for goods or services that are unlawful where offered or delivered.
- Upload malware, malicious code, harmful links, phishing content, credential-harvesting content, or material intended to compromise another system or person.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, tenant isolation, usage limits, rate limits, security controls, or plan restrictions.
- Probe, scan, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Platform except where expressly authorised by law and by Intek Ghana.
- Use another User’s account, API key, Sender ID, customer data, or private document link without permission.
- Upload or distribute content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other legal rights.
- Use the service for harassment, threats, exploitation, hate-based abuse, or other unlawful harmful conduct.
3. Messaging and Intek SMS
You must only send messages to recipients where you have an appropriate lawful basis or permission to contact them. You must not use Intek Invoice or Intek SMS for spam, deceptive sender identification, phishing, repeated unwanted messages, or unlawful marketing.
You are responsible for the content of your messages, your Sender ID usage, your contact lists, and compliance with applicable communications and privacy requirements.
4. Storefront content
Storefront listings should accurately describe the business’s products or services. Businesses must not deliberately misstate pricing, availability, identity, fulfilment terms, or contact information in a way intended to mislead customers.
5. Customer and personal data
Do not upload personal information that you have no lawful reason to collect or use. Do not use customer information obtained through Intek Invoice for unrelated abusive, deceptive, or unlawful purposes.
6. Security and responsible access
You must take reasonable steps to protect your account and connected credentials. Do not share passwords or API keys publicly. If you identify a security weakness, report it through the Support Desk rather than exploiting it or publishing sensitive details that could place Users at risk.
7. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may investigate, limit a feature, block harmful content, suspend messaging, suspend an account, preserve relevant audit records, or take other proportionate action. Serious or unlawful conduct may be reported to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.
8. Reporting misuse
To report suspected abuse of Intek Invoice, use the in-app Support Desk or contact Intek Ghana through intekghana.com.
